"Treading on Graves: Bring the Past to Life"
In this talk, novelist Eibhear Walshe will talk about the rewarding task of writing historical fiction and will discuss how he dealt with the real lives of the Wilde family, the composer Handel and the novelist Elizabeth Bowen in his three novels The Last Day at Bowen’s Court (2020), The Trumpet Shall Sound (2019) and The Diary of Mary Travers (2014).
